This Level 3 HACCP course explains the legislation surrounding HACCP and introduces the three key stages: the Preparatory Stage, the Hazard Analysis Stage, and the Monitoring and Verification Stage. It also explores different approaches and shows how to develop, implement, and maintain an effective HACCP plan.
In the UK, the Food Safety Act and the Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations make HACCP a legal requirement for any business handling food. Failure to comply can result in serious consequences, including fines, legal action, or being banned from operating.

- Principles and Steps of HACPP : The final section focuses on the 7 key principles of HACCP and the 12 steps behind it.
