Welcome to the Awaab’s Law training course.

These legal duties apply to all social housing tenancy agreements, both new and existing. Tenants also have the right to take legal action if landlords fail to meet these obligations.

1. Awaab’s Law – What is It : In this section you will learn why Awaab’s Law was set up, the hazards specified and its phased rollout for landlord’s.
2. Using Awaab’s Law : This section explores how the law can be used. This can be through investigations or reporting a concern. You will examine how to navigate complaints, penalties, repairs and if necessary alternative accommodation for tenants to stay in.
